William Gene O'Dell

William G. O’Dell was born on December 26, 1946 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to William Claude and Melvina Mariah (Broom) O’Dell. He graduated from high school and he served in the United States Marines.  He was a lineman with the electric company. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0213 and the IBEW, Local 2, St. Louis, Missouri. He married Linda Cowan on December 8, 1977 in Guymon, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents.
William O’Dell passed away on September 22, 2013 in Perryton, Texas at the age of 63.
He is survived by his wife, Linda of the home; his sons, Carl Roberts of Guymon, Oklahoma; Ben Roberts and wife Brenda of Balko, Oklahoma; Jason O’Dell of Perryton, Texas; his daughter, Frances Bennett of Waca, Texas; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The family requests memorials to the Beaver County Sheltered Workshop, Beaver, Oklahoma.
Memorial Funeral Services for William G. O’Dell will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Balko Baptist Church with Fred Huff and Jason Johnston officiating. Interment will be in the Bethany Cemetery.
