Trella Lou (Hill) Noll was born January 16, 1963 in Tecumseh, Nebraska to Earl and Donna Hill. She spent a few years of her childhood in Liberal, KS until they moved to Floris, OK in 1972. She graduated from Turpin High School in 1981. In December 1982, she married Jerry Davis. That union brought two amazing boys, Colt (in 1984) and Heath (in 1988).
For many years, Trella worked at Tri-State Feeders in Turpin, OK. This was probably her favorite job and one she was well known for. There, she worked cattle as well as doctored sick and injured cattle.
Trella had a tender heart for animals. She had the knowledge and compassion to nurse them back to good health. She had been known to take in many types of wildlife that had been injured or lost their mothers, such as deer and raccoons, until they were strong enough to return to their habitats. Trella loved all animals. Horses were her favorite, especially one in particular, Tonka. They did many things together from rounding up and working cattle to leisure rides. One of many things Trella passed on to her boys was her love for nature. Trella was an avid hunter for many different animals, such as deer, rabbits, dove, and quail. She passed on the same passion to her boys as well as survival skills, respect for the gun and animals.
On April 5, 2004, Trella married Mike Noll. Together they enjoyed years of camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with their grandchildren.
Two of her greatest loves were her grandchildren, Oakley and Hudson. As good of a mother as she was, she was an even better grandma.
Trella, age 61, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2024.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Earl Dean Hill. She is survived by her husband Mike Noll, parents, Earl and Donna Hill, brother Shane Hill, sister Cymba Parker and husband Kevin, son Colt Davis, son Heath Davis and wife Robin, granddaughter Oakley Davis, grandson Hudson Davis, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, people may send donations in Trella’s memory to Loving Paws Rescue, Rt 1 Box 59, Tyrone, OK 73951.
