Ronnie "Bruno" Lee Bruner

Ron was born January 12, 1951 in Scott City, Kansas to Leo and Helen Bruner. He graduated high school from Healy, Kansas in 1969. He was in the United States Army Reserve from 1970-1978.

Bruno and Leigh Anne (Hodges) were united in marriage on July 6, 1991. Together they have four children, Dustin Bruner, Heather Wiebe, Melissa Washmon and Zach Searcy.

Bruno enjoyed fishing, golfing, cooking and playing cards with family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo.

Ron passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Beaver County Memorial Hospital.

Bruno is survived by his wife, Leigh Anne, of Forgan, Oklahoma; his son, Dustin Bruner and wife Jennifer and children Kolton and Reese from Perryton, Texas; daughter Heather Wiebe and husband, Jay and children Jacob, Ethan, Autumn and Carson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter Melissa Washmon and husband, Rodney and their children, Sierra, Clayton, Jayden and Kanin of Fargo, Oklahoma; son Zach Searcy and wife, Rhonda and their son, Lane of Shattuck, Oklahoma; his mother, Helen Bruner, Forgan, Oklahoma; four siblings, Alan, Linda, Dee Ann and Janet and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.   
 

The family request that memorials be sent to the Forgan United Methodist Church, Beaver County EMS or Beaver County Memorial Hospital. Also, a scholarship fund in Bruno’s name will be set up at the First Security Bank for Beaver County Graduates.
