Reuben Anderson Parker, Sr.

Reuben Anderson Parker was born December 3, 1940 to Reuben Anderson and Flora Elizabeth (Patee) Parker in Beaver County, Oklahoma. He attended school and he married Sandra Diane Marshall on March 24, 1962 in Canyon, Texas. Reuben was a former Deputy Sheriff with the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office and he was a member of the Oklahoma Sheriff’s Association.  

Reuben passed away on March 3, 2014 at the Beaver County Memorial Hospital, Oklahoma at the age of 73.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Diane Parker of Beaver, Oklahoma; his son, Sheriff Reuben A. Parker, Jr, Beaver, Oklahoma; his daughter, Jeannie Ann Hale of Edmond, Oklahoma, brothers Jake Parker and Otto Parker of Beaver, Oklahoma; sisters, Ima Loftin of Amarillo, Texas, Louise Behrends and Lucille Dejonge of Jones, Nebraska;  5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a host of other friends and relatives. The family requests memorials to the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office Memorial Fund or the Emergency Services, Fire or Ambulance, or the charity of choice.
