Michael Ray Pearson

Michael (Mike) Ray Pearson was born June 16, 1959 to Max and Christine LaNelle (Dotson) Pearson in Perryton, Texas. He was a long time resident of the Balko, Oklahoma. Mike graduated in 1978. He was active in football, 4H, FFA and received the Star Greenhand, the Outstanding Senior and the Star Farmer award’s. Mike and Nancy met in college and married September 21, 1979.  He was a proud member of the Balko Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Beaver County EMS and was a past member holding several offices of the Beaver County Fair Board. He worked for Beaver County, District #3 for 23 years as a heavy equipment operator and delivered the Daily Oklahoman for 4 years. He loved to farm and helping anybody who needed help. Mike was preceded in death by his father Max, brother Percy Wayne and sister Julie Lynn.

Mike passed on June 1, 2015 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 55.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Pearson of Balko, Oklahoma; his son Joshua Raymond Pearson, Balko, Oklahoma; his daughters Christina Lynn Ginter, Cheyenne, Wyoming;  Sarah Anne Poindexter, Arnett, Oklahoma; his mother Christine Pearson, of Laverne, Oklahoma; his sisters, Joyce Zack of Tyrone, Oklahoma; Barbara Mason of Laverne, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
