Leon Floyd Spangler

Leon Floyd Spangler was born November 26, 1948 to Virgil Floyd and Marion Starr (Brown) Spangler in Beaver, Oklahoma. He has been a lifetime resident of Beaver County, Oklahoma. He graduated high school and joined the United States Navy. He was a member of the First Christian Church, the VFW Post 1335 and the American Legion Post 149. He attended one year of Vo-Tech and he had retired from Beaver County.  

Leon passed on February 19, 2015 in Southwest Medical Center, Liberal, Kansas at the age of 66.

He is survived by his daughter, Melinda Spangler of Beaver, Oklahoma; his sisters, Linda Sue Kissel and her husband, Paul, of Protection, Kansas and Carolyn Lavon Harper and her husband, Kim, of Hugoton, Kansas, two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
