Judith "Judy" Sharon Cooper

Judith (Judy) Sharon (O’Neal) Cooper was born on October 26, 1943, in Memphis Tennessee to Arthur Eugene O’Neal and Delcia Jewel Carroll O’Neal. Judy married and had four children, Joe, Kelly, Kasey and Charley. She met Mike Cooper, the love of her life and married on May 4, 1995. Mike and Judy moved to Forgan in 2003.

Judy had a love for music and played drums in a band for many years. She enjoyed all varieties of music. Judy and Mike were also very competitive with game shows such as Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. They both did not like to lose.

Judy started working at the Beaver Nursing Home beginning in March 2003 and then retired in October 2020. She had excellent work ethic and took pride in what she was doing. She loved her coworkers and her job. Sharon Bridwell was one that kept in close contact with her after her retirement.

Living in a small town like Forgan, Judy had great neighbors that would bring her food and check on her after Mike had passed.

Judy had a special pet friend at home named Millie. Millie was Judy’s lifesaver who kept her going from day to day.

She was preceded in death by her husband-Mike, her parents- Arthur and Delcia, son-Joe Couch, her daughter-Kasey Cox, her grandson-Chad Couch.

Judy is survived by her daughter-Kelly Couch (Randy Gleeson) of Fulton, Missouri, son-Charley Couch and wife Connie of Bullhead City, Arizona, daughter-in-law Joanne Couch of Wheeler, Texas, brother-in-law Terry Cooper and wife Sandy of Edmond, OK, sister-in-law Cheryl Steers and husband Ronnie of Turpin, OK, sister-in-law Teryl Leisher and husband Brent of Forgan, OK.

Judy leaves behind five grandchildren-Katrina Cox, Drew Couch, Josh Couch, Karli Gleeson, Kamryn Gleeson. Eight great grandchildren-Jayton, Joey, Jamison, Judd, Alex, Jamie, Anthony, Aurora. Several nieces and nephews.
