Donita Joyce Eyer

Donita Joyce Eyer was born May 22, 1937 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Olia and Gladys Dean. She moved with her family to Beaver County at a young age. She attended South Flat Church of Christ where she met the love of her life, Donald. They married on November 26, 1953 and spent the next 69 years together, raising their four children. 

Donita and Donald raised their children on the family farm. She also worked at the dry goods store in Beaver with her twin sister, Bonita and helped Donald drive a school bus for Garrett Elementary School. She had several hobbies throughout her life that include painting, quilting and going to auctions. Her favorite way to spend time was with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donita died on August 26, 2024 at LaTreca’s home in Amarillo TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald and one son, Duane.

She is survived by two sons, Verle and his wife Vicki of Amarillo TX, Gary and his wife Renie of Woodward, OK and one daughter LaTreca and her husband, Bart Guthrie of Amarillo TX; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
