Darlene Faye McCarter

Darlene Faye  McCarter was born in Beaver County, OK on November 7, 1929 to Jesse Earl and Nelle (Lemming) Ingland.  She married Burt McCarter on September 1, 1947.  Darlene was an active member of the Forgan United Methodist Church for many years.  She was a licensed beautician, owning her own salon in Forgan.  She also worked at Lady Fair in Beaver, where she worked wonders styling the ladies of Beaver County.  Darlene was known for her kind heart and good sense of humor, never afraid to laugh at herself.

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents and thirteen siblings.

 She is survived by her husband, Burt of Forgan and her children, Connie Williams of Forgan, Nancy Link of Rolla, KS, Mike and Becky McCarter of Forgan, Patricia and Dale Starr of Forgan, and Lisa McCarter of Spring, TX.  She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Funeral Services for Darlene Faye McCarter will be Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Forgan Methodist Church with Jim McGill officiating.
