Cody Wayne Sharp

Cody Wayne Sharp was born February 15,1995 in Beaver, Oklahoma to Patrick Sharp and Christi (Sanders) Sharp. He was the second of three children. He grew up in Beaver and was a friend to all who knew him.  Many of his friends became like family. He graduated from Beaver High School in May 2013 and then attended college at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He lived there until 2018 and obtained a Certificate in Business.  After graduating, Cody moved back home to Beaver and began working for Southwest Medical Center as a medical coding and biller. He was hardworking and dedicated to excelling in his career.  

Cody enjoyed fishing at any time day or night, going to the races, Sooners football, hanging out with friends, going to the casino, and watching NASCAR on Sunday afternoon. He loved spending time with family and spoiling his two nieces. He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face. 

Cody Sharp, 29, passed away on May 8, 2024 in Wichita, Kansas.  

He is survived by his parents, Christi and Patrick Sharp; his brother, Dillon Sharp and dog Lilly; his sister, Samantha Sharp; his nieces, Khloie Harper and Rylee Sharp; his grandmother, Merlene Sharp; his grandfather, Doug Sanders; his uncle and aunt, Micheal and Michelle Sanders; his cousins, Kaylee and Nancy Sanders all of Beaver, Oklahoma; his uncle and aunt, Antone and Tish Sanders of Amarillo, Texas along with their children, Natalie and Brian; his aunt and uncle, Roberta and David Hein of Kansas City, Missouri; his uncle and aunt, Roger and Terri Sharp; his cousins, Karmen Foust, Kara Kinnamon, Lindsay Mason, Timothy Sharp, in addition to many friends and other relatives.  

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Sharp; and his grandmother, Linda Sanders.
