Charles E. Mills

Charles Erman Mills was born on March 10, 1939 in Morton, Texas to William Seth and Helan Dee (Provence) Mills. He graduated from Balko High School and was an owner of a business in the oil and gas industry in Beaver, Oklahoma.  Charles married Karen Karber on February 1, 1957 in Perryton, Texas. Charles has been a member of the Baptist Church since 1960. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Charles passed away on July 26, 2013 in the Good Shepherd Hospice in Yukon, Oklahoma at the age of 74.

He is survived by his wife, Karen of Beaver, Oklahoma; his son Kirby Mills of Wichita Falls, Texas: his daughter, Kimbra Hamm of Enid, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Mills of Centerton, Arkansas and Morland Mills, Beaver,  Oklahoma; one sister, Valdene Maberry of Elk City, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family requests memorials to the Beaver Baptist Church, the Oklahoma Cancer Society or to the charity of choice.

Funeral Services for Charles E. Mills will be Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. in the Beaver First Baptist Church with Jeff Bradley officiating. Interment will be in the Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Alan Clark Funeral Services, Beaver, Oklahoma.
