Bobby Lee "Bob" Bayne

Bobby Lee “Bob” Bayne was born on May 28, 1936 in Protection, Kansas to Kern and Bernice Fay (Elam) Bayne. In 1953, Bob met Ms. Barbara Ann Steadman in Coldwater, KS. Bob and Barbara married on November 26, 1954 in Clayton, New Mexico. In the 34 years of marriage, they had 5 children. In 1958 Bob, Barbara, and their kids moved to Ashland, KS where they remained until 1974. In 1974 the family moved to Coldwater, KS. Bob spent most of his life farming and ranching. 

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Kern and Bernice Bayne, sister Bonnie Smutz, brother Kenneth Bruce Bayne, wife Barbara Bayne, son-in-law Frank Clark, son-in-law Leon Rogers, grandson-in-law Puddy Robbins, grandson-in-law Dusty Fowler, and nephew Randy Bayne.

Bob passed on March 27, 2024 at the age of 87 at his home in Forgan, Oklahoma.

 He is survived by son Barry Bayne of Forgan, OK; daughter Brenda Area and husband Blake of Manhattan, KS; daughters Beth Bayne, Bobbi Rogers, and Beverly Clark all of Coldwater, KS; 22 grandkids, 33 great grandkids, 4 great great grandkids; and his brother Bill Bayne and wife of Protection, KS.
